Full-cycle composite yacht production & repairs

Initium Lam System Volodymyr Iatskiv is a sole proprietorship operating in the marine sector. The company was established on 01.06.2018 and delivers projects for clients in Poland and abroad.

I work with a dedicated team – from experienced laminators and sanding/polishing specialists to carpenters and finishing experts. This allows us to take over a complete stage of a project or join as part of a bigger factory team.

Composite production (hand lay-up)

• mold preparation – cleaning, surface inspection, waxing and gelcoat,
• laying mats, woven rovings and core materials according to technical documentation,
• manual resin saturation, careful air removal and thickness control,
• control of laminate weight and even material distribution,
• demolding, initial edge trimming and preparation for further stages.

Vacuum infusion – end-to-end

• design and preparation of the infusion setup (channels, valves, feed lines),
• laying fabrics, cores and reinforcements, protecting critical areas,
• vacuum bag sealing, leak test and corrections,
• controlled resin feed, monitoring flow and curing,
• finishing: trimming, sanding and preparation for assembly.

Finishing & assembly

• grinding and fairing of surfaces,
• gelcoat repairs, polishing and restoration,
• component assembly and fitting,
• quality control of geometry, weight and surface finish.

HVAC (air conditioning & ventilation) – installation process

• site inspection and planning: equipment placement, ducts/routes, service access,
• installation of air conditioning units (marine or facility – depending on project),
• ventilation ductwork: ducts, insulation, dampers, silencers, grilles/diffusers,
• routing and securing copper lines, condensate drainage, pumps, filters,
• electrical connections and basic control wiring within agreed scope,
• leak/pressure testing, vacuuming and charging (when required and legally permitted),
• commissioning: airflow balancing, temperature tests, performance verification,
• handover: recommendations for service and maintenance.

Yacht building & fiberglass components

• laminating fiberglass hulls, decks and superstructures,
• production of structural and finishing composite elements,
• support for series production and prototype builds,
• fitting, finishing and quality checks according to yard requirements.

Yacht repairs and refit

• sanding and surface preparation,
• polishing and restoring gelcoat surfaces,
• teak deck repairs,
• antifouling / bottom protection and painting,
• laminate repairs, crack and collision damage repairs,
• carpentry and finishing work inside and outside the yacht.

HVAC – air conditioning and ventilation systems

I install and build air conditioning and ventilation systems for yachts and technical facilities. Typical scope:

• installation of AC systems (split / marine AC / chilled water – as per project),
• ventilation ductwork: ducts, insulation, dampers, silencers, grilles/diffusers,
• condensate management: drains, pumps, insulation against sweating,
• routing copper lines and securing systems for vibration resistance,
• basic automation support: thermostats, sensors, controls within agreed scope,
• commissioning: airflow balancing, diagnostics, performance testing,
• service & maintenance: filter replacement, cleaning, seasonal checks, troubleshooting.

Every project is priced individually after discussing the scope, documentation and schedule.
